Our C24-graded timber is imported from Scandinavia, where the harsh climate and slow growth produce wood with tight growth rings, high density, and excellent structural integrity. This premium grade offers superior strength compared to lower classes (such as C16), making it ideal for demanding load-bearing applications like joists, rafters, studs, and structural framing. We kiln-dry, regularize (planing for consistent dimensions), and pressure-treat it to ensure straightness, durability, and long-term performance in both internal and external use.

Treated Timber  Features

• All timber is regularised — planed uniformly on all sides with eased (rounded) corners for comfortable handling
• Our process ensures a finish that is 2 mm under the nominal thickness and 5 mm under the nominal width, ensuring consistency.
• Treated under high pressure using Tanalith E (or equivalent) to enhance durability and resistance.
• Kiln-dried to promote stability and straightness.
• Strength-graded to C16 / C24, guaranteeing known and reliable structural performance.
• Important: All cut ends must be re-sealed with a proprietary preservative to maintain protection.
