County Building Supplies Welcomes New Regional Sales Manager to Malvern
County Building Supplies is pleased to welcome Luke Ledbury to the team as Regional Sales Manager, based at our Malvern branch.
Bringing nearly 20 years of builders’ merchant experience to County, Luke has worked his way through almost every aspect of the industry. Starting out in the yard, he progressed through the trade counter and sales before moving into management roles including Assistant Manager, Branch Manager, Regional Sales Manager and, most recently, Branch Director.
His wealth of experience and understanding of both branch operations and sales will be invaluable as he takes on his new role with County.
Speaking about what attracted him to the business, Luke said:
“The opportunity to work for a local, independent builders’ merchant really appealed to me, along with the staff we already have within the company.”
Returning to a sales-focused position is something Luke is particularly looking forward to, with building relationships at the heart of his approach.
“I’m looking forward to meeting new people, building relationships with staff and customers, and getting back into the sales side of merchanting and dealing directly with our customers.”
With extensive experience across the merchanting industry, Luke has a clear ambition for the branches he will be working with.
“My main aim is to get the branches I’m covering to become the merchant of choice in their towns.”
Outside of work, Luke is a keen football supporter and follows his local side, Malvern Town Football Club, as well as Chelsea. He regularly watches Malvern Town with his 12-year-old son, and the pair also enjoy spending time fly fishing together.
