Everbuild® 408 Super Seal – 5 L

Spirit-based transparent water repellent supplied in a 5 L metal tin. Designed to penetrate deep into brick, stone, concrete, plaster, rendering and render to provide long-lasting protection against water penetration while remaining clear and breathable.

Typical applications

• Waterproofing porous surfaces such as brick, stone, masonry, render, concrete, pebbledash and plaster.

Usage guidance

• Ensure surfaces are clean, sound and dry—remove dirt, algae, mould, grease, and fill any cracks beforehand.
• Shake tin well before use. Apply by low-pressure spray, brush, or roller.
• Vertical surfaces: work from the bottom up to fully saturate the area.
• Horizontal surfaces: flood the area, then spread after 10 minutes with a soft brush or roller.
• Apply two coats, with the second coat applied within one hour while the first coat is still wet.
• Drying time: approximately 1–2 hours depending on temperature.
• Clean tools immediately after use with white spirit.

• Pack size: 5 L metal tin.
• Appearance: Clear liquid that dries colourless.
• Chemical base: Siloxane resin in a solvent (spirit) blend.
• Density: 0.88–0.92 g/cm³.
• Application temperature: +5 °C to +40 °C (surface temperature must not exceed 40 °C).
• Shelf life: 12 months when stored between 5 °C and 25 °C in dry conditions.
• Typical coverage (brick): 5 m² per litre for first coat; 8 m² per litre for second coat.

Good to know

Not suitable for damp or wet surfaces—do not apply if rain is imminent. Not compatible with non-porous surfaces, wood, plastic, rubber, or fishponds. Protect surrounding areas from overspray and remove immediately if it lands on unwanted surfaces.
