Everbuild® 501 Universal PVA Bond – 1 L

Medium-viscosity, phthalate-free polyvinyl acetate emulsion in a convenient 1 L bottle. Designed as a multi-purpose bonding agent, primer, sealer, admixture, and adhesive for a wide variety of construction and DIY applications.

Usage guidance

• As a primer: dilute 4 parts water to 1 part PVA Bond; seal porous surfaces before coating.
• As a bonding agent: apply undiluted and cover with fresh plaster/render before the film dries.
• As an admixture: mix equal parts PVA Bond and water into the dry mix for small areas, or dilute 3:1 (PVA to water) for large areas—apply before film sets.

• Viscosity: 7 000–15 000 cP at 23 °C (Brookfield RTV 5/20).
• Minimum film-forming temperature: −2 °C to +5 °C.
• Density: approx. 1.07 g/cm³.
• pH value: 4–6.
• Shelf life: 12 months in unopened containers stored at 5–25 °C away from frost and direct sunlight.
• Standards: Meets BS 5270 requirements for internal use with gypsum plasters.

Good to know

For interior use only. Not suitable as a load-bearing adhesive. For exterior or damp environments, choose Everbuild® 503 Premium SBR Bond.
