Everbuild® 702 Water Resistant Tile Adhesive – 16 kg

High-performance, ready-mixed wall tile adhesive supplied in a 16 kg tub. Specially formulated for use in areas subject to prolonged water contact, high humidity, and condensation—ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and power shower installations.

Typical applications

• Interior wall tiling in bathrooms, kitchens, and power shower areas (with Everbuild® Powdered Wall Tile Grout).
• Fixing ceramic and porcelain wall tiles, as well as mosaics.

Usage guidance

• Apply a 3–6 mm layer, working over areas of up to 1 m² at a time.
• In dry areas, comb with a notched trowel; in wet zones, bed tiles directly and twist slightly to ensure complete coverage.
• Check periodically that tile backs achieve at least 75% coverage—apply more adhesive where required.
• Open time: approx. 30–40 minutes at 20 °C; curing takes 24–72 hours depending on site conditions.
• Clean tools with water while adhesive is wet; wipe away any excess before it sets.

Good to know

Not recommended for floors, swimming pools, or external use—opt for Everbuild® 705 Rapid Set Tile Mortar instead. Ensure all substrates are sound, clean, and dry. Prime porous backgrounds (e.g., fresh plaster) with Everbuild® 503 SBR Bond diluted 1:3 with water before applying.
