    Everbuild® Black Jack® 907 Solar Reflective Paint – 5 L

Thin, bituminous-based aluminium protective paint in a 5 L tin. Specifically designed to reflect sunlight and reduce heat absorption on primed metal walls and roofs, helping to extend the lifespan of roofing systems.

    Key benefits

    • Fast drying—typically touch-dry within 1 hour under normal conditions.
    • Silvery reflective finish helps lower surface temperature and protects bituminous coatings from UV degradation.
    • Extends the lifespan of underlying repairs and roof coverings.

    Typical applications

    • Applied over primed metals.
    • Used as a protective overcoat on existing bituminous surfaces.

    Usage guidance

    • Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, or loose material.
    • Stir thoroughly before and during use.
    • Apply two thin coats with a brush or mohair roller; allow 1–2 hours drying time between coats.
    • When applying over freshly coated bituminous surfaces, wait at least:
      • 6 hours after hot-applied coatings
      • 3 days for solvent-based coatings
      • 2 weeks for water-based coatings
    • Avoid heavy brushing pressure—use soft brushes and thin coats to prevent ponding.
    • Clean tools immediately after use with Sika Wonder Wipes or white spirit.
