Everbuild® Black Jack® Flashing Tape – 100 mm × 10 m roll

Durable self-adhesive flashing tape with aluminium foil facing and bitumen-rubber adhesive backing, designed to create an instant waterproof seal without the need for separate adhesives. A flexible, long-lasting alternative to traditional lead flashing.

Typical applications

Usage guidance

• Prepare the substrate—remove dirt, grease, loose material; ensure surfaces are clean and dry.
• Prime porous materials such as concrete or brick with Black Jack® Bitumen & Flashing Primer before application.
• Cut tape to required length; peel back 50 mm of release liner and press firmly in place while gradually removing the backing.
• Use a small roller to remove air pockets and secure adhesion; ensure 25 mm overlaps at all joints.
• For cold weather application, pre-warm the tape or use a hot air blower to improve tack.

Good to know

Do not apply over damp or frozen surfaces. Always ensure primer coats are fully dry before use. Test adhesion on a small area prior to full installation, especially in extreme weather conditions.
