Everbuild® Black Jack® Flashing Tape – 150 mm × 10 m roll

High-performance self-adhesive flashing tape with a lead-look aluminium foil facing and a bitumen-rubber adhesive layer, providing an instant waterproof seal without the need for separate adhesives. A flexible, durable, and easy-to-use alternative to traditional lead flashing.

Typical applications

Usage guidance

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease, dust, or debris.
• Prime porous substrates such as brick or concrete with Black Jack® Bitumen & Flashing Primer before application.
• Cut tape to required length, peel back around 50 mm of the release liner, and press the tape firmly in place while progressively removing the backing.
• Roll the surface firmly with a small roller to eliminate air pockets; maintain 25 mm overlaps at joints.
• In cold weather, warm the adhesive layer slightly or store tape at a warmer temperature before use to improve tack.

Good to know

Do not apply to damp or frozen surfaces. Allow any primer to fully cure before application. Test adhesion in a discreet area if substrate compatibility is uncertain.
