Everbuild® Black Jack® Flashing Tape – 225 mm × 10 m roll

Premium self-adhesive flashing tape with a lead-look aluminium foil face and a high-tack bitumen-rubber adhesive backing. Provides an instant waterproof seal without the need for separate adhesives, offering a flexible and durable alternative to traditional lead flashing.

Usage guidance

• Prepare the substrate—ensure it is clean, dry, and free from grease, dust, or loose material.
• Prime porous surfaces such as brick or concrete with Black Jack® Bitumen & Flashing Primer before applying the tape.
• Cut the tape to the required length, peel back approximately 50 mm of the release liner, and press the tape firmly in place while progressively removing the backing.
• Use a small roller to ensure full contact and eliminate air pockets; maintain a minimum 25 mm overlap at joints.
• For cold-weather use, warm the adhesive layer slightly or store in a warmer environment prior to application to improve tack.

Good to know

Do not apply to damp or frozen surfaces. Allow any primer to dry fully before applying the tape. Always test adhesion on a small, inconspicuous area if the substrate type is unknown.
