Styrene-butadiene copolymer latex for enhancing cementitious mixes as a water-resistant bonding agent and admixture. Febond SBR improves durability, flexibility, and adhesion—perfect for repairs, rendering, screeds and waterproofing applications.

Usage guidance

• As a bonding slurry: mix 1.5 parts cement to 1 part Febond SBR by volume, apply ~0.3–0.5 mm thick with a stiff brush; apply next coat at right angles.
• Admixture dosage: typically 10 L per 50 kg cement; increase to 15 L per 50 kg for maximum adhesion, waterproofing, or chemical resistance.
• Yield: 1 L yields enough bonding slurry to cover approx. 3 m² (dependent on surface texture and thickness).
• Stir before use and protect from frost—freezing may cause permanent damage, especially if thawed rapidly.

Always prepare surfaces by removing contaminants and dampening porous substrates until surface-dry. Test a trial batch to confirm consistency and application performance—especially in demanding or critical conditions.
