Keystone Steel Cavity Lintel 90mm S/K-90 1500mm

The S/K-90 Lintel is part of Keystone’s standard load lintel range. It is specifically designed to support openings in both solid walls and cavity walls.

Dimensions

• Cavity Width: Suitable for cavity widths ranging from 90mm to 105mm.
• Inner Leaf Thickness: 100mm.
• Outer Leaf Thickness: 102mm.

Load Capacities

These lintels come in various lengths, each with its load-bearing capacity:

• 600mm:
  • Total UDL (Uniformly Distributed Load) at a 3:1 safety factor: 12kN.
  • Total UDL at a 19:1 safety factor: 10kN.
• 1350mm:
  • Total UDL at a 3:1 safety factor: 16kN.
  • Total UDL at a 19:1 safety factor: 13kN.
• 1650mm:
  • Total UDL at a 3:1 safety factor: 19kN.
  • Total UDL at a 19:1 safety factor: 16kN.

And so on for other lengths.

Installation Tips

• Ensure that a mortar bed is placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute the load evenly.
• Notably, the Keystone S/K-90 Lintel incorporates insulation within the lintel itself.
