Knauf DriTherm 37 Cavity Earthwool Slab is a water-repellent Glass Mineral Wool slab, designed for use in external full-fill masonry cavity walls, that offers excellent thermal performance. It is non-combustible with the best possible Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification, and is manufactured using Knauf Insulation's unique bio-based binder, ECOSE® Technology.

• Cavity barriers are not required with non-combustible full fill insulation, minimising the risk of fire spreading through a cavity.
• Water repellent and BBA certified for use in all exposure zones, including those in very severe areas.

Knauf DriTherm 37 Cavity Earthwool Slab is certified by the British Board of Agrement Certificate 95/3212. Approval can be sought from Knauf Insulation Ltd and the British Board of Agreement for Earthwool DriTherm Cavity Slab’s use in buildings over 25m high.

Handling & storage

Earthwool DriTherm Cavity Slabs are easy to handle and install, being lightweight and easily cut to size, where necessary. They are supplied in polythene packs which are designed for short term protection only.

Storage

For longer-term protection on site, the product should either be stored indoors or undercover and off the ground. Earthwool DriTherm Cavity Slabs should not be left permanently exposed to the elements.
