Underfloor Heating Red flexible corrugated 50m 22mm Pipe Conduit has a 19 mm inside diameter and 22 mm outside diameter. This Underfloor Heating conduit is used to insulate pipe where there are multiple UFH pipes close together. Pipes will often need conduits in doorways and cupboards, tailing pipework will also need insulating in order to concentrate heat flow to the desired area/s. If the pipe is not insulated there will be a concentration of heat, putting the floor temperature over 29oC, making this uncomfortable on the feet. Conduit can also be used where the pipe is spiked through walls.
The UFH flexible corrugated conduit coil, conduit size 22mm inside diameter, makes it suitable for underfloor heating pipe diameters up to 17mm outside diameter. Suitable to use with the following underfloor heating pipes PexAl, PertAl, Pex, Pert and Polybutene pipes allow a cavity of air (insulating) around the underfloor heating pipes, this then can avoid the possibility of the floor screed cracking.
The UFH convoluted pipe / flexible corrugated conduit available are in both 50 and 25-meter lengths, where shorter lengths are required the flexible corrugated conduit can be cut with a cutter or a knife to the appropriate length.
- Colour may vary (usually either red or black)
- Does not come with a split in the conduit.
