Product Overview

Our Conservatory Underfloor Heating Pack is ideal for conservatories and extensions of up to 20m2. The pack includes all the components required to fix the pipe onto insulation. The single loop control pack comes complete with a mixing valve and an A-Rated pump ensuring that your underfloor works at the correct temperature with good flow.

Our conservatory packs include a thermostat giving you the power to easily adjust the temperature accurately. Wireless thermostats can be offered on request, however, an additional fee will be chargeable.

The flow and return connections include fitting ready for 15mm copper pipe.  Once installed onto your wall the underfloor heating pipe can be connected using the compression fittings supplied.

Pack Coverage

This pack is designed to cover 20m2 based upon 200mm pipe centers with the pumping unit in the room. If you wish to take the pipe Centres down to 150mm centers the pack will cover 15m2 and for 100mm centers, only 10m2 would be covered.

Please Note:

Depending on the type of system you have, if you require independent control, a zone valve will be required. As an example, if you have a combi boiler, with radiators on the system the underfloor would require 1 zone valve, with the rads requiring another. The hot water would stay institution so wouldn’t need one.

Why have underfloor heating in a conservatory?

For many, the use of a conservatory is to enjoy the sunshine and the sight of a garden. Having a heated floor, not only creates a unique living space through the cooler months but also allows you to embrace the sunny winter days. Underfloor means no radiators and no radiators means more space in a room as you don’t have any bulky radiators.

UFH works with almost all floor finish types, but for conservatories most of us choose tiles. Tiles absorb the heat making your whole floor space feel warm and cosy.

Q. Is underfloor heating for conservatory a good idea?

A. Yes, simply if you have warm feet you will naturally feel warm. The pipe centre can also be reduced to increase output.

Q. How much does it cost to install underfloor heating in a conservatory?

A. This will depend on a number of factors like system type, and the brand you put in. Our system would cost around £400+Vat for a stapled system, which you would then need to factor in the screed. The installation will also depend on the company fitting. But on average a local plumbers day rate should apply.

Q. What is the cheapest form of underfloor?

A. Stapled systems are normally the cheapest in the initial cost.

Q. How much should I expect conservatory underfloor heating cost?

A. This will depend on many factors, including the following, size of the project, system type required, Zones, controls and many more. Always get a bespoke quotation as a price per m2 normally leads to over or underpricing.

Q. Will Electric Underfloor Heating mat work for a conservatory?

A. Yes, but you should use a higher wattage system like the 200w. Always install insulation underneath the mat. Depending on heat loss you may want to consider having a radiator as well and just have the electric underfloor to take the chill from the tiles. Electric underfloor heating mats do not work as well as a wet underfloor heating system.
