These Floating Floor Underfloor Heating Packs are the perfect solution if minimal build-up is required. The smaller packs are ideal for conservatories and extensions where the underfloor is an afterthought.
Wood Floor finish can be applied directly onto the system so long as it is a minimum of 14mm thick and is click or tongue and groove manufactured.

Tile, Laminate, and carpet flooring cannot be installed directly to these panels – a minimum of 18mm T & G Chipboard must be applied to the top of this. Engineer Wood flooring can be installed directly on top of the panels so long as both the following specifications are met.
- Minimum of 14mm depth
- Tongue groove or click

Q. Can you have underfloor heating on a floating floor?
A. Floating floor systems are used where heating is to be installed over concrete floors. A Dry floor finish is necessary not a wet screed.
Q. What is the thinnest underfloor heating?
A. We have this system in 20mm and 25mm thickness. using a 16mm pipe @150mm centers.
Q. Is laminate flooring suitable for underfloor heating?
A. Yes, so long as there is a thermal break using a minimum of 18mm thickness.
Q. What Flooring is not suitable for underfloor heating?
A. Never use natural wood flooring with underfloor because it is not solid or stable enough to deal with the changes in temperature. Serious damage can be caused if installed directly onto a floating floor system.
