Our Underfloor Heating Plated Packs are the solution to having water underfloor heating on suspended timber floors. Because of the way these heat spreader plates have been designed the plates sit on top of existing or new joists (400mm centres), meaning there is no loss in the floor to ceiling height. We would advise using Rockwool with these packs.
Our aluminium spreader plate for underfloor heating has an omega type groove, holding the pipe strongly in position, making installation quick and easy.
This pack is designed for 200mm pipe centres, making our double groove plates the perfect product when combined with boilers.

Why use the plated pack?
This system is the most cost-effective way of having underfloor heating on a suspended floor. With these plates based on a 50-degree flow with 18mm chipboard, overtop and tiles finish you are looking at approximately 70w/m2 – Please note this is guidance only.

Q. Can the plate be Cut?
A. Yes, however, please file sharp edges.
Q. How do I fix the plate?
A. Most commonly, using a heavy-duty hand staple gun. Nailing is also possible but more difficult.
Q. What are spreader plates?
A. Spreader plates are preformed aluminium sheets that hold the underfloor heating pipes between the joist. distributing the heating through the form of diffusion.
Q. What pipe do I use?
A. Our Multi-Layer pipe is best suited as it does not stretch the aluminium, however, pert/pex pipe can be used.
