SikaCeram® CleanGrout – White 5 kg

Cementitious tile grout powder designed for both floor and wall applications with joint widths ranging from 1 to 8 mm. Enhanced with additives for mould, bacterial, and fungal protection—all while maintaining a colour-stable, abrasion-resistant, water-repellent and durable finish.

Typical applications

• Grouting ceramic, earthenware, glass mosaics, natural stone, marble, and porcelain tiles.
• Suitable for demanding environments including swimming pools (excluding seawater or chemical treatments), heated floors, façades, facades, and interiors.

Usage guidance

• Mix one 5 kg bag with approximately 1.3 L clean cold water (around 26 % of bag weight).
• Use at room temperatures between 5 °C and 35 °C for both substrate and ambient air.
• Pot life is approximately 2 hours, depending on temperature.
• Waiting times before light foot traffic, tiling, or immersion vary—e.g., 24–36 h for floors; 4–6 h for walls with fast-setting adhesive.

• Chemical base: Polymer-modified Portland cement with fine silica/quartz sand and performance-enhancing additives.
• Shelf life: 24 months when stored in unopened, dry packaging at 5–30 °C.
• Performance data (EN tests): Abrasion ≤ 1000 mm³, compressive ≥ 20 N/mm² (dry), ≥ 15 N/mm² (freeze/thaw), flexural ≥ 4 N/mm² (dry), ≥ 3 N/mm² (freeze/thaw), shrinkage ≤ 3 mm/m. Water absorption ≤ 1 g after 30 min, ≤ 3 g after 240 min.

Good to know

Do not exceed recommended water—grout should never be fluid. Avoid application in direct sunlight or areas prone to premature water exposure to prevent surface efflorescence. SikaCeram® CleanGrout must be applied continuously in a single grouting operation per area to avoid visible joins.
