Sikafloor®-122 Level Universal – 20 kg

Cement-based, ready-to-use self-levelling compound ideal for smoothing and levelling internal rigid floors prior to applying final coverings such as carpets, vinyl, lino, tiles, laminates, or timber.

Typical applications

• Levelling internal floors made of concrete, sand/cement screeds (excluding anhydrite), quarry tiles, terrazzo, or ceramic tiles.
• Suitable for use over underfloor heating systems (not for embedment of cables/pipes).

Usage guidance

• Mix one 20 kg bag with approximately 3.4–3.5 L clean water—always add powder to water.
• Mix thoroughly (minimum 3 minutes) with a slow-speed mechanical mixer.
• Pot life: about 20 minutes at 23 °C (shorter in higher temperatures).
• Apply at featheredge up to 6 mm thickness; coverage is roughly 4 m² at 3 mm thickness per bag.
• Use a spiked roller within working time for a uniform finish; additional layers must not exceed 6 mm and require priming between coats.

Good to know

For best results, apply only on clean, sound, dry surfaces with effective damp-proofing. Avoid application on flexible, unstable, or external substrates, or those with rising damp or vinyl coverings. In warm or dry conditions, mist the surface to mitigate rapid drying and shrinkage. Discard any mix that begins to stiffen before application.
