What’s the difference between D3 and D4 wood glue?
D3 glues are water-resistant and suitable for interior use with occasional moisture exposure. D4 glues are fully waterproof and recommended for exterior use or areas exposed to high humidity.

How long does wood glue take to dry?
Initial set typically occurs within 10–30 minutes, depending on the product and conditions. Full curing can take 24 hours for maximum bond strength. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for best results.

Can I sand or paint over wood glue?
Yes — once fully cured, most wood glues can be sanded and painted. Ensure excess glue is cleaned off before drying to avoid visible marks under clear finishes.
