Galvanised Bent Restraint Straps are designed for lateral and horizontal restraint (as in roof trusses). The straps are produced from edge coated galvanised mild steel. They are designed for 6mm and 25mm offset centres holes. The straps are manufactured in accordance with the BS 5268 Part 3 of the Building Regulations.

• Width: 28/30mm
• Lengths available: 600mm, 900mm, 1000mm, 1200 and 1600mm
• Weights: 837g (900mm) or 1116g (1200mm)
• Thickness 5mm

Application

For galvanised straps use min 7 no. 3.75 x 30 square twist nails or equivalent fixed to timber joists /rafters.
